BYU and Utah Rankings Update: Latest AP and Coaches Polls After Week 13

BYU and Utah’s rankings in the latest AP and US LBM Coaches polls after Week 13 saw minimal changes. BYU, with a 10-1 record and a 7-1 Big 12 performance, maintained its No. 11 position in both polls, following a 26-14 victory over Cincinnati. This win brings them closer to a Big 12 championship game berth. Utah, on the other hand, saw slight movement in one poll. After a thrilling comeback against Kansas State, the Utes dropped to No. 14 in the AP top 25 but remained steady at No. 14 in the coaches’ rankings. The Big 12 teams’ rankings are led by Texas Tech, who dropped one spot to No. 7 in the AP rankings. Houston fell out of the top 25 after a loss to TCU. Arizona State and Arizona, both with 8-3 records and 6-2 and 5-3 Big 12 performances respectively, are among the leading vote-getters just outside the top 25. The fourth of six College Football Playoff rankings will be released on Tuesday at 5 p.m. MST, with BYU ranked No. 11 and Utah No. 12 in the previous week’s rankings. The final rankings and playoff field will be unveiled on Sunday, December 7.
